Rogers Custom Millwork was formed as a natural evolution from home building into high-quality finish carpentry. Joe Rogers, our founder, worked as a home builder throughout the 1980s and into the early 90s. A true hands-on craftsman, Joe only subcontracted out the mechanical and electrical trades. This experience — building from foundation to final fixtures and appliances — sharpened his keen eye for detail and taught him how early decisions impact the entire project. By the mid-90s, Joe had transitioned fully into finish carpentry and architectural millwork, which remains the heart of our business today.

 

Joe’s son, Chandler, grew up in the business, developing strong mechanical aptitude and a deep understanding of the trade from a young age. Chandler went on to earn his Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Arkansas. After graduating, he returned to Jonesboro and gained valuable experience as a design and special projects engineer at Hytrol before stepping back into the family business full-time.

 

Chandler’s engineering background, paired with a lifetime of hands-on experience, has significantly strengthened our capabilities in sales, project quoting, custom engineering, and strategic growth. Since 2018, we have successfully expanded into the commercial millwork sector while continuing to serve our residential clients with the same care and dedication.
